Tim Peak’s schedule was chock-a-block this week, so Pre-School voted to pilot their very own Copthill rockets as newly appointed NASA astronauts!
The children took turns choosing their rocket and together counted down from 10, before using big run up jumps to land as hard as they could onto the launch pad for lift-off! Lots of squeals of excitement could be heard across Mission Control Centre in Houston as our rockets zoomed super fast up, up, up into space, passing a couple of Red Kites, EasyJet and Superman, before breaking the speed of sound enroute to the Moon (for a quick lunch pit stop) and beyond to outer space! What planet will our rockets visit first?
