The children have fully embraced our new creative curriculum topic and have loved sharing their own knowledge of the continent of Africa. We have looked at the geographical aspects of Africa as well as delving into the cultural differences between some of its countries and the UK.
In our P.E. lessons, the children are using ‘Carnival of the Animals’ by Saint-Saens, to develop their own interpretations of the Big Five and we have seen some amazing creativity so far!
We were also delighted to receive a reply from The Rt Hon the Baroness Garden of Frognal after she received the children’s thank you card following their interview with her prior to half term. She was very impressed with the children’s questions and offered to meet the children in person should we ever get the chance to visit Parliament!
