The excitement in Pre-School was pinging right off the charts this morning so the only thing for it was to tog ourselves up accordingly (I think Pre-School have set a new world record in putting boots and waterproofs on!) and get out there straight away before it all melted!

The children had the BEST time taking turns sledging down the perfectly angled and placed slope (with a gentle, friendly push for jump-starting of course!) by the Fort! The slope was finally achieving its second life calling (the first is hill rolling), providing outstanding sledging opportunities! THANK YOU slope, you did not disappoint! SO much fun and giggles were had whooshing down and around and exploring the snowy field! Sledges and carrots remain firmly on standby should any more snow decide to fall… Pre-School are certainly keeping all fingers and toes warm and crossed in the hope it does, and SOON!
