What a great half term we have had learning all about the Ancient Greeks. So many new facts have been learned from the Olympics to democracy and Greek Gods to the Spartan warriors. We have loved the topic and what better way to end it than with ‘Guess the lifesize Greek God!’ in our Classics garden! After half term we look forward to magnetism, playscripts, Christmas tarts and dare we say….The Wizard of Oz!
We certainly raised the roof of the church as Middle School sang the harvest hymn ‘We plough the fields and scatter’ alongside the newer song of ‘Conkers’! Thank you to Mrs Over for organising a lovely service at St. Michael and All Angels church in Uffington to celebrate Harvest and our Year 3 children were impeccably behaved on their first visit.
