The children in year 3 finished off the league format of their cricket house matches on Tuesday 25th June in absolute glorious sunshine and turned out to be the hottest day of the year!
We had already played 2 rounds of matches and all 4 houses were all on the same points, so it was all to play for. It looked increasingly likely that it would come down to the run rate and Casewick were way ahead, so all they needed to do was win their match.
They faced Lindsey in the final game, winning comfortably, meaning they were the overall winners!
The final standings were Casewick in first place, Milton runners-up, Burghley third and Lindsey fourth.
