The weather DID NOT dampen our spirits – in fact we think it made the day for us! We had a fabulous, soggy day exploring the glorious town of Stamford. We were looking at physical and human features of the town and we even had a peep inside The George hotel to see Daniel Lambert’s walking stick! A huge thank you to the people of Stamford who welcomed us all on what was a rather damp day ending up with a wonderful play at Burghley. A little bit of rain isn’t going to spoil our fun!
