This week in Pre-School we have been thinking all about boats. We used this topic as a springboard to investigate floating and sinking. We enjoyed being scientists as we made predictions as to what might float and sink. Most of us were very surprised to find that apples float. We discovered this is because apples contain lots of air. Just like boats, this helps them to float.
As well as being scientists, we also became flower detectives. In small groups we explored the school grounds on the hunt for flowers. We used this as a springboard to discover this weeks sound: ‘f’.
