The U10 girls travelled to Brooke Priory for a Netball Festival today. Four local schools attended, and it was lovely to see everybody out for some fantastic Netball!
The U10 A team had some outstanding goals, and all the girls played with determination and skill, making use of channels and available space. We had some strong opposition, but the girls stayed alert and continued to use their initiative to keep their opponents in their toes.
U10 Copthill Thunder played five matches against some tough opposition at the Brooke Priory Netball festival. We made a brilliant account of ourselves in the first three matches narrowly missing out after a number of chances. With some excellent movement into space and determination in defence our girls competed well and stayed positive throughout the final two matches. Final results for the team were three draws and two losses. Well done girls! Miss Welch and Mrs Young.
