What an incredible way to finish our invaders topic, experiencing an afternoon of immersive Roman life!
We created mosaics and Roman oil lamps, decorate in intricate patterns; practised marching in our legions and javelin throwing to ensure accuracy for our enemies in order to take over the Empire; built our own aqueduct systems, understanding the Roman engineering feat; orchestrated a siege on a nearby fortress with the catapult and made and cooked our own herby flatbread and cream cheese to enjoy around the fire at the end of a very busy day!
