The Year 5 boys made the short trip to Stamford School to participate in the prep schools rugby festival.
We took 2 teams and were put into their respective level of playing ability. The A team played a total of 4 matches, winning 2, drawing 1 and losing 1. They played some superb rugby, popping the ball up well when needed and the tackling was outstanding! They were exhausted by the end of the afternoon and I was extremely impressed with their efforts and all-round attitude and behaviour during the matches.
The B team played a total of 3 matches that were all competitively played and progress was made throughout the afternoon. It was also highlighted at the sportsmanship shown during the festival and the general attitude of the boys.
Well done to all the boys involved.
